This subdivision is an older community but still a very popular community in the Kerrville area. It is located on Hwy. 173 (also known as the Bandera Highway). It is not in the city. Homes are all on approx. one acre or large lots. There is some newer construction in this area also. The streets and lots have many trees and that is how it came to be known as the Woods. Very pretty area. You can park an RV on your lot in this subdivision and so it is very popular with RV families. Community water system. Each home is on its own septic system.
This is a senior development for age 55 or older. Great area of garden homes or townhomes. Some homes have views. The development has a community center with an indoor pool. They have weekly coffee meetings on Wednesday for the residents. The area is close to the new KROC center. This houses the Salvation Army and a great new exercise facility open to the community for a nominal fee.
